Sharing File Uploads in Chats

While a lot can be accomplished with text in chats, sometimes images are crucial to communicate effectively. This article explains how the file upload process works for your visitors as well as for you as our client. 

Visitors Can Easily Upload Files in a Chat

If a visitor wants to upload a file or the agent senses this might make things easier for the visitor, they can upload it to the chat in 2 clicks. 

The Agent Receives The File

The file is in the chat transcript for both the visitor and the agent to see. Multiple files can be uploaded during the chat as needed. 

You Can Easily View the File After The Chat

The file is visible to anyone that has access to the chat transcript within our system. We don't send the files as attachments but instead using a simple link to click to view the file. The file can be downloaded too.
